Hi, I'm Jelly.

I'm a mobile hairstylist based in Houston, specializing in sensory-informed haircuts and grooming tolerance for children on the autism spectrum and individuals with different abilities.

But what I do goes far beyond haircuts.

I help children and adults build confidence and comfort with grooming experiences that might otherwise feel overwhelming, frightening, or even impossible. Every person I work with is unique, and every experience is tailored to their individual needs. No rushing. No pressure. Just patience, understanding, and love.

My journey started in Dayton, Ohio, where I was born and raised. Both of my parents were hairstylists, so you could say hair has always been in my blood. After attending cosmetology school and earning my license, I knew I wanted to do something more. Within a year, I packed up and moved to Houston — one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I never imagined that journey would lead me so deeply into the autism community, but I'm forever grateful that it did. The families and individuals I've met along the way have changed my life and taught me more than I could have ever imagined.

My greatest hope is that this work continues to grow beyond me. I want to see more professionals embracing patience, understanding, and individualized care — not necessarily doing things the way I do, but doing them even better.
